ULTRA founded in 1923 at Roanne, France is celebrating its Centenary this year. Starting with the production of only HSS Hacksaw Blades ULTRA gradually evolved into manufacturing of a broad range Saws & Tools. Today ULTRA's product portfolio covers an extensive range of Hand Tools, Power Tool Accessories and Cutting Tools. The company is industry wide well known as an Innovator when it comes to Products, Quality and Marketing.
ULTRA today has a fully Integrated Manufacturing facility where along with its range of HSS, Bimetal, Carbon and Carbide Saws the company is producing HSS Flat Wires, Bimetal Strips, Hacksaw Frames, Arbors, Back Plates, etc. all by itself. The company is headquartered in Mumbai, India with its manufacturing plants at Daman, Ankleshwar and Palghar along with fulfilment centres in France, Netherlands, UAE and Singapore.
Each of ULTRA's products are of the highest international quality standards and are sold worldwide in the market segments of DIY, OEM and Distributors/ Specialized Retailers. ULTRA has successfully penetrated various market segments, as it has been able to understand Customer Requirements, upgrade its Production Facilities, Provide Quality Products, Add New Products, Offer Good Service Levels, Marketing Support and Sales Promotion. ULTRA has gained a Wealth of Experience covering the manufacturing of variety of products and has always kept pace with the rapid developments of the Modern High Technology Production Techniques. The company continues to maintain and upgrade the quality of its products so as to Maximize Customer Satisfaction and Future Growth.
Today the company is full of successes, but it has had to face its share of great challenges and we have arrived at this milestone through the support of many people. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our Employees, Customers, Suppliers, Local Community and all other Stakeholders who have supported us over the years and without them we would not have been able to cross this Historic Landmark.
As we look ahead to the next 100 years, we will continue to rely on continuation of all the support that we have received until now. Going forward the business will be segregated into three separate divisions - Saws & Tools, Bandsaw Blades and Speciality Steel with the focus to build up and leverage on the legacy of the ULTRA brand for better market penetration in both existing and new markets. While doing so we vow to prioritise our People, Society and Environment.
