Textile machinery manufacturers and textile producers are working ever more closely together to create a more sustainable future for the industry. Mahlo is exactly the right partner for this. One of the broadest product portfolios in the field of measurement, control and automation technology covers almost every textile application. Thanks to the modular system architecture, customers find individual solutions to optimise their production sustainably, while increasing productivity and cost savings at the same time. At the ITMA Singapore, visitors at the Mahlo booth H7-A103 can expect an overview of all the different sectors the machine builder enhances production processes.
Straightening Machines
One highlight waiting at the stand is the trade show premier of the Orthopac RVMC-20 plus machine. The Orthopac RVMC-20 plus builds on the proven success of Mahlo’s Orthopac series, but adds an important technological advance: double scanning with Feed Forward and Closed Loop Control, both running simultaneously. One of the Orthopac RVMC-20 plus’s greatest selling points in today’s market is its retrofit capability. By retrofitting an existing Orthopac RVMC-15 in the production line, customers transform it into an RVMC-15 plus – effectively bringing older, proven equipment up to today’s state of the art without the cost of a full new machine.
Process control and QMS
Process control systems are essential for today’s textile manufacturing. They ensure consistent quality while enabling machines to run at peak efficiency. By monitoring exhaust air, fabric temperature, dwell time, and moisture, they minimize energy and raw material use to exactly what is required. Featured in live operation are the Patcontrol PCS for pattern detection and the Famacont PMC for managing weight and stitch course density. Both systems support manufacturers in meeting guaranteed residual shrinkage levels. Visitors can learn more about their functionality at the Mahlo booth, where they can also have their own fabric samples tested on site.
Overall, Mahlo's solutions for manufacturing and finishing of textiles and nonwovens are aimed at improving process efficiency, enhancing product quality, and reducing waste, ultimately helping manufacturers remain competitive in the industry.
