WhizCut, one of the industry leaders in Swiss turning tooling solutions, is broadening our offering of tool holders to suit more types of machines. With our commitment to innovation and excellence, we have developed a wide range of high-quality tool holders that are specifically designed to optimize Swiss turning operations. A new cooperation with Esco S.A, producers of the unique Ecomatic lates, enable users to choose tool holders and insert from WhizCut. WhizCut’s ultra-hard carbide is a perfect match for the materials that are run in Escomatic lathes:

  • stainless steel
  • copper alloys
  • nickel alloys
  • and titanium

WhizCut has also developed a range of machine specific tool holders for smaller multi spindle machines, such as MS-16 from German Index. Now you can use the extremely stable WhizTwin inserts for parting off in these smaller machines. The very first WhizTwin project, with this system, saved the customer approximately 3 kilometers of material per used insert — with improved tool life, surface finish, and part quality as additional end result.
