ISO/TC 39 - Machine tools

ISO/TC 39 is a technical committee of ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) and responsible for "Machine tools". It is structured in the following subcommittees:

• ISO/TC 39/SC 2 - Test conditions for metal cutting machine tools
• ISO/TC 39/SC 4 - Woodworking machines
• ISO/TC 39/SC 6 - Noise of machine tools
• ISO/TC 39/SC 8 - Work holding spindles and chucks
• ISO/TC 39/SC 10 - Safety

Scope
Standardization of all machine tools for the working of metal, wood and plastics, operating by removal of material or by pressure.
