A pneumatic press is a fixed-force press machine that operates with compressed air. This category includes table presses, hand-lever table presses and hand-lever column presses for the requirements involved in forming, joining and mounting. In the case of hydro-pneumatic presses, the hydraulic link between the working piston and the adjusting piston supports a switchover function for fast stroke, power stroke and return stroke.
