In order to introduce entry level users to technology for work piece clamping, Witte has brought an ECO set onto the market at an attractive price.

The backbone of this clamping system is the vacuum slot chuck - tried and tested on the market since over 30 years - with a clamping surface of 200x300mm. An oil-lubricated vacuum pump with a suction capacity of 5m 3/h, with 230 V electric motor and vacuum gauge ensures the necessary operating vacuum of 10mbar absolute.

For safe work piece clamping and for individual adaptation to pre-machined parts this set includes a rubber adapter mat with a high friction coefficient.

When certain vacuum specific conditions are taken into account, multiple small work pieces can be machined out of large parts. Breakthroughs and complicated contours can be manufactured superbly and in excellent quality. And this while actual clamping time takes only a few fractions of a second, virtually at the press of a button.
