New Kinpo Group
New Kinpo is one of the three major sub-groups under the Kinpo Group. The Kinpo Group was established in 1973, is a front runner of Taiwan’s electronics industry. It has 23 subsidiaries, 7 of which are publicly listed corporations, and a total of one hundred and twenty thousand employees. The overall sales revenue of the Kinpo Group reached US$30 billion.
In August 2008, General Manager Simon Shen was appointed the position of CEO for New Kinpo Group. Under his leadership, emphasis will be placed on enhancing new product development, cost control, productivity, quality performance, and supply chain operations in the fields of consumer electronics, computer peripherals, communications, optoelectronics, power management and car electronics. With a substantial annual R&D budget, Kinpo employs over 8,500 top R&D engineers striving to design new products that meet current market demand.
