In the development of this new coating special attention has been given to improved wear resistance, process stability and increased productivity. These features are all achieved by this new coating technology. A special arrangement, at the atomic level, of the multi-layer coating achieves not only excellent wear resistant behaviour, but also generates toughness and high temperature stability. Higher machining reliability, shorter processing time and lower production costs across a wide user range of applications is achieved.

The new YB9320 brings improvements to both product series of ISO turning tools or grooving, and many of our various insert milling systems. The application field is effective for the machining of steel, stainless steel and super alloys.
