Elections to the AUMA Board of Directors

The General Assembly of AUMA – the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry – elected new members to its Board of Directors on 28 May 2019: Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen GmbH, and Andreas Müller, Managing Director/Share Holder of Doepke Schaltgeräte GmbH based in Norden, who was nominated by ZVEI Germany‘s Electrical Industry.

The following members were re-elected to the AUMA Board of Directors: Klaus Dittrich from Messe München GmbH, Hermann Giesser from Johannes Giesser Messerfabrik GmbH, Dr. Christian Göke from Messe Berlin GmbH, Robert Andreas Hesse from Möbel Hesse GmbH, Thomas Kaeser from Kaeser Kompressoren SE, Ulrich Kromer von Baerle from Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, and Wolfgang Marzin from Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

The following persons left the AUMA Board of Directors: Martin Buhl-Wagner from Leipziger Messe GmbH, Wolfgang Mainz from Konditorei Brüder Oebel GmbH, and Walter Mennekes from Mennekes Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG.

AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, has 74 members, including 38 industry associations representing exhibitors, visitors and service companies, as well as 36 exhibition organisers. The AUMA Board of Directors has 22 member representatives, half of whom come from exhibition organisers and the other half from the exhibitor and visitor side in industry, commerce and skilled trades.
