AXILE G8 - High Specification Gantry Type 5-axis Machine

AXILE G8 is the gantry type 5-axis vertical machining center. The gantry structure offers strong stability on X-axis and Y-axis travel. The dual driven system on Y-axis also allows G8 to perform powerful thrust force and balance both sides of guideways. It is worth to note that the double driven system comes as standard on G8. This means users can get double ballscrews with direct-driven motors, double linear guideways and double linear scales without additional payment. 

 

800mm torque driven table with max. table load 1,300kg and built-in oil cooled direct drive high-performance torque motors which provides the highest level of precision and dynamic. The swivelling A-axis and rotary C-axis are capable of ±120° and 360° motion, respectively, and the hydraulic breaking is on A & C axes. The high precision of A-axis and C-axis can machine workpiece with a smoother surface. G8 is a good choice for producing complicated parts such as contouring and 3D machining.

 

Specification of the G8 includes a standard 20,000 rpm spindle or optional 15,000 rpm, 670/820/600mm (X/Y/Z) axis travels, and max. feedrate 60m/min in X/Y/Z axis. The control system Heidenhain TNC 640, Siemens 840D sl and Fanuc 31iMB5 are freely selected by users.
