MICROCUT HBM Table Type Rigid Horizontal Boring and Milling Center
MICROCUT offers its HBM-3 and HBM-4 table type horizontal boring and milling center with a rotary table. The 1250x1500 mm rotary table accommodates loads up to 5 tons and offers positioning accuracy of 15 arcsec (360°) and repeatability accuracy of 4 arcsec. The rotary working table is supported with large diameter bearings with high index accuracy of 0.001mm. The X-, Y- and Z-axis travel measures 2000x1700x1400 mm on HBM-3 and 2200x1600x1600 mm on HBM-4. Both machines are equipped with a Ø110mm quill with travel 550 mm for deep-hole boring and milling. Also, the gear-driven spindle with two-step speed change performs high torque spindle power.
The main structure of HBM Table series is made by Meehanite licensed casting with stress released to ensure structural stability. X-, Y- and Z-axis are box way design to provide accuracy and reliability. The one-piece bed design on HBM-3 ensures high rigidity and vibration resistance when loading heavy workpiece. While on HBM-4, the bed is supported by two additional X-axis guideways on Z-axis to offer accuracy and rigidity for the large longitudinal travel.
HBM Table series offers steel belt chip conveyor, spindle oil cooling system, automatic lubrication system and 28-tool arm-type ATC as standard. An optional 40- or 60-tool magazine is also available.
