Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik has been one of the leading suppliers of high-precision optical, tactile and multisensor measuring technology to the international market for over 70 years. Since 1973, Schneider Messtechnik has been a part of the Allit Group which now has approximately 550 employees at its head office in Bad Kreuznach.

Over the decades, we have not only developed incomparable know-how of the industry, but we also put all of our experience and values at the service of our customers. In this way, our products and services have been continuously optimized and adapted to the growing requirements of our customers: to a high technical level, with above-average quality standards, and in the interests of our customers, both economical and practical.

The company is divided into three strategic business divisions. The broad range of measuring machines under their own brand names are in the DHSM division. Development, construction, purchasing, assembly, marketing, sales and after-sales services including customer service and a wide range of opportunities for customer training are undertaken directly at the company’s main premises.

In the OEM division, hardware and software developments are carried out under the brand names of our partners. The services provided by our OEM division benefit not only manufacturers of measuring machines, but also companies in the assembly, mechanical engineering, construction and trade industries.

The sports division forms the link to the private customer. Optical metrology and high-performance Olympic sports found common ground in highly precise laser target technology for the modern pentathlon, biathlon and sport shooting. Reliable measuring technology has been the basis for outstanding sporting moments and Olympic gold medals since 2009.
