    Hurco Hawk 40

    New to Hurco and older machines, I am trying to figure out how to do rigid tapping on NC. It will not read my M29. Tried reading the manual but nothing I try works

    Never seen a Hawk be able to rigid tap...

    You can tap using a floating tapping head assuming your machine has the option using the conversational. Sounds like you're running it with G-Code.
