    Slave Axes in TuroCNC?

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to slave axes in TurboCNC, so that a 4th (A) axis is geared 1:1 to the X axis for example.

At one time, I read that you could define two separate X axis that would move together, but if I recall correctly, they wouldn't jog together. Another workaround is two connect the step and direction signals from a single X axis to two separate drives. This may or may not work if your port can't supply enough current to run two drives. A 3rd option is to use the new drive being developed by a member here, which can slave axis in the drive itself.
