Skimmtelligent Decanter

The FRIESS Skimmtelligent oil separator is used wherever oil is mixed in with the process fluid and does not float. The process fluid is pumped into the Skimmtelligent via a diaphragm pump in bypass flow. In the first preliminary stage, the coarse dirt that is also pumped settles. In the following coalescence separator, the oil collects until it develops sufficient buoyancy to float on the liquid surface. Here it is conveyed with a FRIESS oil skimmer into a collection tank. The deoiled liquid flows back into the working tank via a discharge chamber.
