Presentation by Enrique Peinado, Mahr Corporation de México, S.A. de C.V., Monterrey, Nuevo Léon, México.
GETPRO @ Expomaq, Léon (April 13 and 14, 2016)
Quality assurance is one of the most important parts of the any industry, and drive train manufacturing is not the exception. As today’s requirements for smother operation, better performance and a longer service life, keep on getting more and more demanding and strict, different challenges for the quality professionals arise, and need to be dealt with.
This presentation pretends to show a few of those challenges and some of the current ways the drivetrain manufacturing industry manages to comply with today’s quality and design requirements, such as surface finish on bearings and their components, gear tooth measurements, lead measurement on sealed surfaces, and chatter and lobbing on shafts and other drive train components.
