High sustainability targets

In 2016, KAPP NILES set itself the sustainability target of reducing CO2 emissions by 25 % at its locations in Coburg and Berlin by 2025. Thanks to the switch to climate-neutral electricity (from 2020) and climate-neutral gas (planned from 2022) and other continuous measures, it is already foreseeable that a saving of 90% of CO2 emissions can be expected by 2025. This means that the target set will be far exceeded.
