BMWi Technology Transfer Program Lightweight Construction (TTP LB)

The TTP LB is intended to improve the transfer of knowledge and technology across sectors and materials, especially in industrial sectors close to the market. In addition, the programme is intended to establish lightweight construction as an innovation driver for sustainable economic activity and make an important contribution to achieving the German government's climate protection goals. Funding of around 300 million euro is available for this purpose.

The application procedure consists of two steps (outline and full proposal). Two cut-off dates for submission of outlines are regularly scheduled for each calendar year: 1 April and 1 October. For the first time, outline proposals may be submitted by 1 May 2020. Due to the crisis-related situation, however, outlines that are received throughout May will be taken into account in the first round of evaluation of the project outlines. After that, pre-proposals can be submitted continuously, but, according to the project management organisation, they will not be evaluated until 01.10., 01.04. etc.

Further information on the TTP LB can be found on the BMWi website at the following link: https://www.bmwi.de/Redaktion/DE/Artikel/Technologie/technologietransfer-programm-leichtbau.html.

The BMWi has commissioned the Project Management Organisation Jülich (PtJ) to manage the funding measure. If you have any questions regarding the TTP LB, please contact PtJ at the e-mail address [email protected] or at the telephone number: 030/20199-3622.
