About Hybrid Lightweight Technologies
Multi-material design sees materials increasingly being combined in lightweight applications. With the formation of the Working Group Hybrid Lightweight Technologies in 2016, the VDMA is engaging in production processes of hybrid lightweight components that use fibre-plastic combinations and metals. Besides VDMA members, user and supplier industries as well as research institutes may also engage in the Working Group that currently has over 200 members. The aim of the Working Group is to advance production processes, automation and joining technologies, which are not confined to any particular material, Europe-wide and to create sustainable workplaces.Aktionsschwerpunkte der Arbeitsgemeinschaft
