Full feed ahead - Kläger Spritzguss optimises machining with TOOL FACTORY

Kläger Spritzguss GmbH is a leading manufacturer of complex injection moulded parts - but so far with time-consuming machining and high tool wear. At the AMB 2018, Kläger became aware of us: "Trochoidal end mills with offset chip breakers were of particular interest to us. We had never seen this in comparable products on the market before," said Udo Trick, head of mould making. After a test phase, a more powerful, more cost-efficient and more machine friendly machining was achieved: 80% longer tool life with 30% less machining time was the result.
