Automobiles: According to a new study, batteries are more efficient than fuel cells

Scientists from Stanford University and the Technical University of Munich have calculated in a new study which drive is more cost-efficient in CO₂ reduction. The calculations were based on a model village in California with 8000 inhabitants, for which future scenarios up to the year 2035 were developed. The calculations were also applied to two villages in southern Germany. The result is clear.
