From May 20 to 23, 2026, the Metaltech metalworking trade fair will take place in Kuala Lumpur for the 30th time. The fair will once again be held in the modern, multi-story Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Mitec).

In 2026, there will once again be a German Pavilion sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) as a joint company stand at the trade fair, where interested companies can participate as exhibitors. The main focus of the exhibition will be on machine tools and metalworking, manufacturing automation, surface technology, welding technology and heat treatment, measurement technology, material handling, and industrial software. The participation fees, including stand construction, for sponsored participation in the German Pavilion are € 360/m² (1st-4th participation) or € 400/m² (5th participation and above) and € 800/m² for companies that are no longer eligible for sponsorship. In addition, there is a registration fee of € 375 per exhibitor charged by the organizer.

Registration is only possible online until January 22, 2026. Each exhibitor must obtain accreditation once in advance before registering to participate in the German Pavilion.
