Broaching is a machining process that uses a toothed tool, called a broach, to remove material.
About the project:
For that kind of process we are very proud to share a small success story made possible by the great cooperation of our Walter Sales Company in Slovakia our Engineering Product Support and our Global Account Manager.
ne of the largest automotive suppliers in the world, based in Slovakia, gave us our first order for a die for a broaching insert in 2017. After extensive testing, we have been replacing more inserts from the competition every year since then. Our customer particularly appreciates the process reliability and tool life that are so important in broaching.
For another project at a second location, in addition to the broaching inserts, we also implemented the complete design of the tools as well as their production.
