Live machining & machine highlights
Visitors will gain a perfect overview of the entire WFL product range, from 26th to 28th of March, daily from 9.00 to 17.00, at the head office in Linz. All manner of machine requirements will be covered, from the smallest machine model, the M30 MILLTURN, to the M120 MILLTURN. Aviation and the energy sector, as well as the plastic and oil and gas industries constitute the major industries in which our applications are used. The Technology Meeting will also feature multitasking machining from A-Z in the production hall area, process-related technologies and innovative scientific speeches to provide you with further insight into our products and services.
Technology leadership – the essence
In addition to the machine highlights, there will be shown a wide range of technologies: screw machining, complete machining of turbine blades, additive manufacturing, grinding, structure-borne sound measuring and in-process-ultrasonic measuring are especially worth mentioning. When it comes to software, the universal and easy-to-understand program editor Millturn PRO and the 3D simulation software CrashGuard Studio also display further developments.
Comprehensive solutions
For the first time, WFL Tooling Solutions will present their ingenious tools, which ensure enormous accessibility to the component. WFL also significantly raises the level of the measuring technology. Without taking the work piece out of the machine, the milled profile can be scanned across the entire circumference using the scanning probe. Another novelty is the electromechanical universal 4-jaw chuck. It allows each jaw to be individually driven and controlled. Now a wireless transmission of energy and sensors by means of inductive couplers and the clamping of any work piece geometry are possible.
