V-CAD 300 CNC Lightning:
With Schneider’s reliable 2D optical devices of the V-CAD series, even large workpieces can be measured in one go – without tedious standby times or intermediate stops for retooling. The magic formula is: “Lightning Mode on/Start Stitching!” The Schneider experts (by the way, “Schneider” is the German term for “tailor” – so “stitching” literally measures up to our name!) have developed this smart mode to ensure fully automatic and fast delivery of integral images across the whole measurement range. The machine flash-captures individual segments in motion (the parameters of the light flashes are perfectly adjusted to suit the camera and the position of the measurement stage so as to minimise motion blur) and then joins (“stitches”) the captured segments seamlessly together into a coherent whole. This works in both transmitted light mode and in versatile multi-segment incident light mode – in a matter of seconds – with “lightning” speed and with utmost precision in terms of reproducibility.
