The newly developed PITTLER MultiTool by PITTLER T&S is a real cycle time optimiser. With up to 6 lathe tools on one adapter, tools can be changed within split seconds directly at the workpiece. This is not only saving space in the tool magazine but also machining time. Perfectly adapted to component geometry thanks to different adapter lengths, outer, inner and face turning operations, back cuts or plunge cuts are carried out highly efficiently. Equipped with a choice of HSK-, Capto- or SK-interface, the PITTLER MultiTool integrates itself perfectly into the tool concept of any PITTLER machine.
PITTLER has designed the new MultiTool for use in the third generation of its machine series for complete machining named PV³ which is suitable for components with a diameter of up to 1600 mm. Besides turning, drilling, grinding and milling, the machines of the this series also enable thread cutting and deburring as well as – as the only machine series on the market so far – gear cutting using the Power Skiving method within complete machining.
