The Deutschorden School organized the career information day for the first time about 20 years ago in Lauchheim. This annual event offers pupils the opportunity to find out about training occupations. On Tuesday, 6 March 2018, 18 companies and facilities presented themselves - including our local company SUMITOMO ELECTRIC Hartmetallfabrik GmbH.
Nobody can explain better than the trainees themselves how the apprenticeship as a cutting mechanic in the direction of grinding technology takes place at Sumitomo and what awaits them in our company. Three of our current trainees used exhibits and information flyers to explain Sumitomo's business fields and made the apprenticeship as cutting mechanic attractive to the students. Thus the interested pupils and training place seekers could inform themselves about the contents of the apprenticeship and get an insight into Sumitomo's world of metal working.
Our trainees Jonas Deiss, Julian Endris and Roman Radomski were supported by chief instructor Helmut Uhlmann. We are pleased about the great commitment of our trainees and look forward to future developments.
