Can an older HEIDENHAIN control still be used for state-of-the-art programming? Sure! Even the latest programming stations let you create NC programs for older controls. To match the control’s functionality, simply hide the new cycle parameters by pressing “NOENT.” And be sure to use the convenient CAD Import function. The older controls can easily machine the elements.
