The HG 2 focuses on cost-optimised production in an environment that makes the greatest possible demands on quality. With this external cylindrical grinder EMAG introduces a highly flexible concept for the precision machining of shaft-type components. The automotive industry and its sub-suppliers in particular, are calling for flexible solutions, allowing them to react promptly to changes in production requirements.  

The technologies of external cylindrical grinding, cam and out-of-round grinding and crankshaft grinding are all available on the new platform and supplied as requirement-specific technology modules.
