Ever since the first TNC 110 appeared in 1976, HEIDENHAIN controls have stood for convenient on-machine CNC programming with intuitive dialogue guidance.

The Klartext conversational programming language soon made its debut with the TNC 135, appearing at the 1979 EMO trade show. As the first TNC control to also feature a screen, the TNC 135 set new standards in user-friendliness.

Today, Klartext continues to actively guide users in more than 20 languages, prompting them through all the programming steps needed for the task at hand.
