The VDMA is offering its members and European companies the opportunity to participate in a joint pavilion at Laser World of Photonics China 2026, taking place from March 18–20, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
The event is the leading trade fair for the photonics industry in the Asia-Pacific region and a key gateway to the Chinese market.
With over 52,000 professional visitors and 1,400 exhibitors in 2025, the trade fair provides ideal conditions for business development and visibility. The European Pavilion, powered by VDMA, offers a professional exhibition platform under a unified brand, supported by experienced on-site staff.
“Laser World of Photonics China is a strategically important gateway to the Asian market for our members. With the European Pavilion, we provide a strong platform for visibility, networking, and business development,” says Dr. Christoph Ullmann, Managing Director of Laserline GmbH and Chairman of the VDMA Working Group Laser and Laser Systems for Material Processing.
The all-inclusive exhibition package includes:
9 m² booth space with construction, furniture, electricity, cleaning, and digital signage
- Access to the VDMA lounge
- Social media and platform exposure
- On-site support from an experienced trade fair team
Pricing for the all-inclusive package:
- RMB 40,500 (excl. VAT) for VDMA members
- RMB 49,500 (excl. VAT) for non-members
Additional square meters can be booked:
- RMB 4,500/m² for VDMA members
- RMB 5,500/m² for non-members
The pavilion is organized and managed by German Mechanical Engineering Commercial Services (GMECS) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Branch Office, a subsidiary of VDMA specializing in trade fair services in China. GMECS handles all logistics, coordination, and communication with local organizers.
Application deadline: December 15, 2025. If the total pavilion space sold by GMECS does not exceed 150 m² by the deadline, GMECS reserves the right to cancel the pavilion.
