In view of travel and event restrictions, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH has decided to cancel SMTconnect. The event was planned for May 4-6, 2021 in Nuremberg and is characterized by a unique selling point as an electronics manufacturing trade fair in Europe: The event connects colleagues in the fields of manufacturing, development, application and service of microelectronic assemblies and systems.

The trade fair company is accommodating the wishes of exhibitors and visitors for a presence event and has accordingly decided against staging a digital trade fair. "We very much regret having to cancel the presence event in May. However, the current situation and the resulting lack of planning security for the entire community do not allow us to implement SMTconnect in the spring," explains Anthula Parashoudi, Vice President SMTconnect.
