New software

vectorcam presents its newness right on time for the „International exhibition for metal working” in Stuttgart (16th – 20th of September).

vectorcam is a modern 2d/3d CNC-programming system and convinces with an easy and intuitive handling. The modular organization guarantees an optimal cost-performance ratio. vectorcam is used as a software for CNC-programming in the area of milling, drilling, turning and Wire EDM/Cutting.

2d geometries as well as complicated 3d model data can be programmed with vectorcam in a very fast way.

Next to some minor newness (like our new vectorcamStyle) we will especially present our newest vectorcam 2015.

vectorcam 2015

As an extension in the area of milling, vectorcam presents the integration of the new module 5 axis simultaneous milling. Therefore, the multiple approved 5 axis simultaneous milling, made by ModuleWorks, has been integrated into vectorcam. This module is characterised by a longtime experience and various possibilities.

There are different functions available:

  • 5axis roughing
  • 5 axis finishing
  • 5 axis hobbing (SWARF)
  • etc.

For the calculation of tool paths respectively for the machining of the parts you can use ball-end mill, lollipop cutter and end mill etc.

The permanent collision monitoring guarantees a safe machining for simple as well as complex operations. A machine simulation is included and offers the display of the entire CNC-machine with the kinematic movement. The collision monitoring permanently controls the CNC-processing and shows possible collisions in terms of colours and/or stops the simulation immediately.

With this implementation vectorcam offers the very useful module for optimising your CNC machining in the context of milling.

vectorcamStyle

Some time ago we presented our new module „vectorcamStyle“ here in our blog. With this module you can produce a 3d-object based on any twodimensional pictures within seconds. We showed you here, how that works in theory. During the “AMB” we will show you, how it works in practice.

You will find us in hall 4, stand 12 as well as hall 3, stand 14. We are looking forward to your visit.
