MACHINING EXPERT Contest 2013

Today, metal-cutting manufacturing is being planned and virtual commissioned by help of several software products along the computer-aided manufacturing process chain. Only those companies which invest a high effort in adjusting and extensioning the standard elements of this chain gain a competitive advantage.

In this announced "Five-Axis process contest" Leipniz Universität Hannover together with
DMG / MORI SEIKI is searching the „MACHINING EXPERT“ for the first time. The aim of the Machining Expert contest is to award innovative as well as practical solutions for the most complex five-axis machining processes. The focus is on the improvement of the entire process chain from idea to production. We also expect to create new impulses and ideas for a future manufacturing.


The countdown to the competition runs! Register directly for participation at the MACHINING EXPERT Contest 2013. The submission deadline is July 10, 2013!
