With the Technology Roadshow, DMG / MORI SEIKI will be showing in theory and in practice how optimizing machining processes can increase machine tool performance.
During the one-day (free of charge) event, visitors will be given a broad insight into the latest machining methods and thereby brought up to date with the most recent developments in metal-cutting technology. Under certain circumstances, metal-removal processes can be significantly improved by a small but selective variation in parameters or the use of a new tool technology, giving you a clear competitive advantage.
Focal points range from turning and 5-axis milling to milling-turning and turning-milling technology. An important feature of the series of seminars is the holistic approach to the individual topics. As in recent years, DMG / MORI SEIKI has enlisted competent support from members of its partner network who will pass on their knowledge to you. HEIDENHAIN and SIEMENS will therefore be attending the Roadshow as partners from the field of control engineering. Machine tool manufacturers will be supported by OPEN MIND and SIEMENS PLM as CAD/CAM providers. LMT, PAUL HORN, SANDVIK COROMANT and WALTER will be bringing their expert knowledge in tool technology to the seminars, while SMW Autoblok and HAIMER will be enriching the series of presentations in clamping technology. SAUTER, MT Marchetti and WTO as providers of powered precision tool holders will also be taking part in the Roadshow. Cooling lubricants will be provided by Blaser.
As well as technical presentations and live demonstrations, there will also be plenty of time to discuss individual questions with the experts.
