    Camworks vs Cambam?

Has anyone comments on the features, learning curve, reliability of Cambam vs Camworks? I design in Solidworks and Camworks is their featured CAM software but it is expensive. I will be doing mostly hobbyist type work in aluminum using a standard Bridgeprot mill fitted with ballscrews and DC servo motors in X, Y, Z axis. Step and direction software will be Mach3. Thanks for any and all comments.

CamWorks is a pretty crap Cam package, there are many others worth looking at.
Try downloading HSMworks Xpress as it is free, an addin CAM for SolidWorks, has a few simple strategies, easy to pickup without training, and comes with a heap of post which are reasonably easy to modify to suit ur machine. Worth a look!
