    Mori seiki NL2500 setting tool

I work on a mori seiki NL2500 lathe with two spindles. I have a problem. pricipal tool you recall T1212 the secondary one on the second spindle recalls us T1228 you have to do T +16. is it possible to change the presetter setting and make it do +50 i.e. recall it with T1262?

If I'm not mistaken, you can do whatever numbers after the turret position you want, +16 is just the standard they teach. The machine only cares about the T01-T12 (the turret position), the offset number after that is entirely up to you. I don't recall if they have a maximum offset number.

Yes, you can do it. Tool 1262 means: turret position is 12 and tool number is 62. You can choose any tool number you wish, just select line you like to add new tool and measure it. It can be 1201, 1223, 1255 or whatever you like.
