I'm just a user of this product. Looking at the NC plot website you can see that there have been updates this year. I hadn't checked lately so I thought I'd pass that information along here.
In my opinion this is a really wonderful program for writing your own G code for use on a lathe or a mill. I have moved on to a mill-turn machine, so using this is now problematic for me. It's really kind of sad.
Metalhead doesn't post here anymore but at least he is keeping up his website and I'm hoping he's still selling licenses. He certainly deserves too.
I'm going to pose a question to everyone out there. What do you all think is the number one competitor to this program? I'm not looking for free software. I would love to have something that would work on my Integrex. I am not asking about CAD or CAM software. I have all that stuff. I am looking for a G code editor with plotting.
My original thought coming here today was to request that metalhead open source this software. But now that I see that there is activity on his website, I know that it is not going to happen. With all the advances of AI code generation I would think this program could be taken to the next level by using that technology.
cheers
