I restored back to life a Haas VF2 from 1997, I changed the Spindle drive (Yaskawa) and one servo amplifier. The machine totally lost all it's settings when I power up for the first time. I have restored the settings and parameters and everything looks now fine (Axis are moving well, spindle works well, and ATC too).
For the first time I tried to drill a hole in Alluminium block, I set the tool offset and the work G54 start partoffset and I run the following program :
G14 G40 G80 G54;
M06 T01;
G00 G90 Y-10. X10. S800 M03;
G43 H01;
G01 Z-3.0 F80.;
G00 G80 Z80.
G28;
M30;
The part is moving at the good position, the column move above the part at the tool offset the spindle is rotating but nothing else happen. The green light is lit fixed, the position to go is -3.00 for Z axis, the actual spindle speed match the requested speed.
No error appear, the control just display running.
In diagnostics page, the Spindle At speed flag is ok (display 0 because the parameter is inverted *).
Any idea of what do I have to check ?
Thank you for your help !
Looks like paused waiting for Feed Hold to be released.
Check the Feed Hold button or I/O line.
