    Manual Tool Change

    Hi Everyone.

Hopefully this will be an easy answer.

If I am doing a pocket and then I want to remachine with a smaller bit, how do I tell mastercam to pause so I can manually change bits between Toolpath Groups?

    Thanks for any help!

When doing a pocket on the second Paramater page in the lower right corner there is an option to extra finsh pass. Check this box. it will turn of the finish pass's and create another op for finish pass's.

    Thanks!

I will give it a try tonight when I get home.

    Edit:
While I am at it, how would I do the same thing with contour? Say I wanted to do one cut with 1/16 bit and another with a 1/4 bit. Obviously I would need to pause the machine between the cuts. How would I go about that?

    Thanks (again)
