    Z-axis bellows flip over?

Does anyone know if the z-axis bellows cover accordion could be flipped over?
Mine is getting pretty beat up but only at vice height or there about. I was thinking that if I could just flip it over I'd get a few more years out of it without issue
I had a quick look but couldn't really see how it's held on, must be screws buried in there somewhere...
    Thanks

    Re: Z-axis bellows flip over?

Looks like the bottom is flat across and the top has the dovetail cut into it
I could cut the dovetail into the bottom piece and put it on top
Maybe block off the bottom but I'm also wondering how much could get up underneath it if it was left open

Bigger question is concerning the larger washer that was laying on the bottom, looks like it was from the bottom of the Z-axis ballscrew. Marks on the face show it was installed so I wonder what held it and how it came off...
