Do they accept step and direction signals, or something else?

Great question. I'm a newbie. But i believe its a step.. i can set the pulse on the ss2000d6 drivers. But if you would like im going to include a pdf of the manual for the mx2000 and the ss2000d6 motor drives. I'm trying to make the Mach3 work with this unit.. maybe i can so i don't have to start from scratch. Take a look at it and tell me what you think.. That would be a great help in determining if i can use this setup some how.

The MX2000 won't work with Mach3, but the drives should.

great so im not starting from scratch. So what do i from here. I have to the following for superior electric motors and drives.
6- superior electric encoded stepper motors with the following spec’s
Stepping motor
Type KML063F13C4
1.85 VDC 6.6 AMPS
200 step/rev
Connect per 213803/219273
Encoder 400 PPR
3- superior electric SS2000D6 drives
some limiter switches
A thomson super slide XY stage with 24" travel in both axis.
Ok.. thats what im starting with.. what would you suggest the next piece in the puzzle is?
