    eBay Giggle: carbide rods which aren't

    Has anyone else notice that some eBay vendors, especially from Hong Kong, are enthusiastically advertising
    "HSS High Speed Steel Turning Carbide Bars for CNC Lathe"

    Yes, lots of different sizes, all labeled 'carbide bars', all made of HSS.

    Wierd bunch.

    Price always dictates quality I have found also in the fine-print.
