    solid to 2D print

    In Mastercam can I make a 2D print from a solid easily?

    I dont see why not you can shift the view side to side and front to back and even isometric and measure from there. I take it you dont have mastercam right now?
    We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.

    Yes go to Solids and use Solid Layout... you will have to create the Dim but you have you 2d layout in the views you need. real fast and easy.
