    Another My "New Enclosure" thread.

Well here are a few photos of the parts and thru the build.

    The frame connected and primered

    Painted

    Aluminum ends installed.

I will add sliding doors using drawer slides, I'll post pics of that later.
Here is my cure for the door latch issue, it's worked flawlessly and solved the door coming open issue.

R., I like the way your enclosure is shaping up. I made mine way too tall, and it is a big reach to open the spindle door and change tools. Your height looks just right to me. I think I remember you describing your door latch fix quite a while ago too, but it's good to see pictures.

    Etc...

Yeah the weight of the door latch handle(steel) keeps it closed and is still quick and easy to open. What I build takes 4-6 tools so I need to be able to easily open and close the door and know it will stay shut.
While I was making my enclosure I realized that if one wanted a simple inexpensive splash shield you could make a simple rod frame and get a couple shower curtains to hang from it. In fact you could put the rod high enough it would be out of your way when changing tools. This would probably be the best way to go in all honesty. Why don't I ever think of these things when I start a project.

    Finished

I finished it up using full extension drawer slide for the doors with acrylic mounted to them. I still want to make a "console/control panel" mounted on the front but have been too busy. And yes the 4th fits inside, well at least for what I use it for.

    Randy,

The power draw bar fixes that problem very nicely.
