    Fadal Feed Over-ride display

    A couple of questions....

First, on my 95 model 4020 with a -4 cpu, my running screen has a place in the center that shows RPM, Tool#, Feed Rate.
I assume the F7.5 is the programmed feed rate. is the 8.4 after the slash supposed to be the actual feed rate?

Second, why does it never match programmed feed rate, and turning the feed over-ride pot doesn't seem to do anything when the program is running.

I know when I was doing the clock card calibration, there is a place where you make sure to turn the know to 0% to make sure the feed slows down to a stop, and that worked fine. 100% on the knob had the same following rate during the test as it did when Feed Over-ride was disabled. So the pot works and the control is getting the signal.

I'm just scratching my head why I can't get the over-ride to work during a program. There aren't any M48's in my code, and not showing on the screen in the active codes.
