How do I select all these points and lay a closed curve over these 3600 points?

Do I have an option of different line types? polyline, spline... etc?

You have an option how you export the line.

But the curve can be through the points or interpolated.

I'm not by that computer right now.

When I choose a line... it wants me to click every individual point to make my curve.

I guess my main question is... can I select all points... then what function do I use to automatically put a line/curve through all those points.

"CurveThroughPt" which is found under curve-freeform-Fit To Points.

Another way if you have made a point cloud out of the import is to use curve-point cloud-point cloud section and draw section planes at the level of the points.

Select the points and then select curve through points. Adjust the options as needed. Sometimes selection direction or order will impact the final outcome so you may need to vary.

If you still can't make it work you may need to use grasshopper/rhinoscript to get the job done
