    Fanuc 310i

I am in the process of buying a VTL with a Fanuc 310i control.
Does anyone have a few programs that I can download or you can email me so I may have a look at the way the programs are. I am really interested in any thread chasing programs using G76. Is it the same as 18i?

We use G76 to chase threads into heat treated Gasite(white iron) these parts have a 62hrc. And the threads go up to a 16" triple lead 19" long. Also this is a 15,000lbs part. Machine turns 100RPM @ 300IPM. Pretty neat...

Someone please forward me a sample program for the 310i. Thanks

Well I ended up going to a week long course provided by G&L. Not a whole lot of difference's in the programming from the 18 except you can no longer use "U" and "W" as an incremental move.
