    ACE V400 Z Axis

    Hi,
Can anyone out there give me an idea of what the static load reading on the Z axis should be? (Read from the servo tuning page)

Our maintenance crew were working on the keeper plates and botched it up, now I've been given the job of fixing it. We burnt out the Z axis amplifier last week as a result of excessive load. (was over 100% static at one stage)
    Thanks!

Found the problem. Our maintenance "experts" milled the keeper plates instead of grinding them to compensate for wear. This resulted in out of square, warped and odd sized plates. We have ordered new plates, meanwhile , I shimmed the old ones and re-installed them to bring the load values down to normal (23%). It's hard to find good help...................
