[PSP]

Hi I am Paul from PSP Racing in South Africa, we manufacture Motorcycle components . I am looking to buy a small 3 Axis CNC milling Machine with ATC and was wondering what Machine you guys could recommend , I currently have 2 Prototrak SMX machines which are great , but would like to speed things up and buy machine where the z axis is controlled by the machine and and so is the tooling . Power supply would have to be 220 volt .

Hello Paul,

There are a lot of Benchtop milling machines out there. Which one is right for you depends a lot on your application such as the size of the parts, material, range of cutter sizes and so on.
I currently have a V8 and a V5 mill from MDA Precision. It is extremely rigid and has been working great. I previously had a Roland, but I needed something bigger and stronger.
The V8 has an ATC, but can only machine metals using a 1/8", 3mm endmill or smaller. Check them out and see if it works for you.
